Joss Stone is one of the biggest success stories of 2004. Born Joscelyn Eve Stoker in 1987, the Devon lass began her musical journey aged fourteen on the BBC talent show Star For A Night. She later secured a US deal with S-Curve records, and at sixteen, recorded her debut album, The Soul Sessions. The album of classic soul tracks, which also included the breakthrough single, Fell In Love With A Boy, took just four days to make and delivered success on both sides of the Atlantic. Joss Stone collaborated with songwriter Desmond Childs to create her second album Mind, Body & Soul, which reached UK No. 1 in October 2004.
