Lemar Obika graduated from the BBC's Fame Academy talent show in 2003. It was the singer's final try at a musical career after an unsuccessful liaison with RCA records. These days, however, even his reality show past seems a distant memory and each new single brings further praise. Lemar's chart career began with the singles Dance (With U), 50/50, and Another Day, which all came from his debut collection, Dedicated. The album was released in November 2003 and helped earn the 26-year-old Londoner 2 BRIT Awards last year. Lemar's second album, Time To Grow, came out on November 29 2004, with the single If There's Any Justice preceding it.
