The rise of Natasha Bedingfield has been meteoric. Born in Lewisham, South-East London in 1981, the teenage Natasha formed a group with her sister Nikola and older brother Daniel (yes, that Daniel) before heading off to study psychology at university. Watching Daniel’s success from the sidelines, the equally talented Natasha decided to follow suit. Her debut offering Single blasted into the UK charts in May 2004 (UK No. 3), while following singles These Words (UK No.1) and Unwritten (UK No. 6) confirmed her place as a unique pop talent. Natasha Bedingfield’s chart-topping debut album, also called Unwritten, was released in September 2004 and has since gone platinum.
