London-based DJ-Producers the Shapeshifters created the hit of last summer with the dance floor smash Lola's Theme. The track first surfaced as an instrumental white label at the end of 2003 after being created by Nocturnal Groove label chief Simon Marlin and his Swedish partner, techno producer and DJ Max Reich. The song made UK number 1 in July 2004 and in doing so made Simon's wife, for whom the track was named, the second most famous Lola in musical history. Lola's Theme was released commercially on Positiva Records in July 2004. It features vocals by Cookie, who has also sung with the likes of Kylie Minogue and Ms Dynamite.
