Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Usher Raymond IV released his 1994 debut album Usher aged just fifteen. The album was produced By Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs and included a hit single, Think Of You. The follow-up My Way(1997) offered up more singles, with You Make Me Wanna doing especially well in the UK. Huge UK hit Pop Your Collar followed from the album 8701 (2001), while most recently Confessions (2004), included dance floor favourites Yeah (Feb 2004), Burn (May 2004) as well as Confessions Part II. Usher is now unmistakably one of pop/ r&b’s most famous figures. Usher’s musical career has run concurrently with acting for some time, and screen credits include the sitcom Moesha as well as movies The Faculty, She’s All That and Texas Rangers.
