This was Warner Bros first ever social media led film launch.
The brief was to tell everyone about the film. That meant talking directly to the core male target and importantly a much broader audience. We used online PR, a major social media outreach campaign and an exciting social media presence to encourage video and trailer viewing, sign ups and ultimately a cinema visit.
We certainly made some Noize; over 1.8m video views, over 150,000 channel views, 2000 competition entries, over 3,000 sign ups and…..No 1 Box office film in June 2009.
